  • This is a great reminder of why we write. it’s so easy to be discouraged when another rejection arrives in the inbox, like today. It’s poor use of time to puzzle over the meaning of a rejection note. Editors are busy too and must create form letters. Thank you.

    This arrived in my mailbox on a day I was fighting the world to get to my computer to write: paying bills, waiting for the appliance repair guy, my day to grocery shop and cook, a scheduled zoom meeting with my granddaughter, a fraud notice on my computer that I had to address…but reading this piece made me feel less “targeted” by the gods. Thanks folks
